TGIF!!! We meet again folks, on another lovely Friday day! I am personally stoked on this one, this week’s Youtube Evolution is featuring Lights! Not only have I liked her music from the start, can we talk about how freaking adorable she is? 
Holy crap this is an old one, I haven’t seen this one since well…2006 when it came out. It is nuts to think how far she has come from this video! SO this is the same song but it was her Official Video for “February Air” that she released later on in her career, QUITE the transformation I’d say! 
2010, I feel like this was really when a bunch of people were starting to super into lights. 
2011, I reallllly like this video and song for some reason, so pretty! This video is from last year, I agree with the title “Timing Is Everything.” Get it girl, you’re killing it! Just like she said timing is everything and sadly our time has come to an end…until next friday of course. Peace xo

Matt’s second encounter with the lassie known as Lights was, ironic as it sounds, decidedly darker than the first time around. Older (slightly), wiser (surely) and blonder (conspicuously), the artist formerly known as Valerie Anne Poxleitner’s vivid vibe contrasted an otherwise aphotic affair, while her natural effervescence was highlighted through the help of stylist Sonia Torsan and MUA Robert Weir.
Thankfully Lights’ radiance wasn’t lost in the shadows of the shoot, but it certainly wasn’t helped by the inclusion of an animal associated with the dark arts - a bird of different feather - Ruby, a Eurasian Eagle Owl, appreciatively provided by Hands On Exotics.
